I have no idea what made me rent this in the first place. Michael Sheen? I hardly even know who he is, but I hear he's really good. Timothy Spall? He's always brilliant, but hardly the type I'd rent a movie for.

Football? Shyeah, right. My interest in football is as close to void as possible. And still I absolutely LOVED this. The acting is superb, and I suppose it helps that above all else it's an entertaining and touching movie about obsession, devotion, and smart-arsery.

And fit blokes in shorts. ;).
