Review of The Damned United (2009) by Tim B — 07 Mar 2010
Michael Sheen puts forth another strong performance (doesn't he always?) and the supporting cast is also quite good with the inclusion of Jim Broadbent, Timothy Spall, and Colm Meaney.
Sheen plays a brash up and coming football (soccer) coach in England named Brian Clough whose idolization of Don Revie (legendary coach) turns into a personal vendetta over a misunderstanding between the two.
There isn't much sporting action, but it's an interesting story and film non the less.
