Review of The Damned United (2009) by Amanda C — 20 Aug 2010
Again Michael Sheen proves that he is a first rate actor. This is his film and his performance dominates the screen. Timothy Spall also does a great job with a very unflashy, reserved character. The direction backs up the great performances with some very unusual shot angles and framing, that add visual interest without detracting from the actors performances.
