Review of The Da Vinci Code (2006) by Scott O — 09 Jan 2016
It's not a terrible thriller, just bloated and there's a feeling of incompleteness that I can't quite put my finger on. I do appreciate the thought provoking concept of the story (I've never read the books) I know that most of the theories brought on has been proven to be filled with holes but there are questions brought up considering christianity's history with the conversion of Rome by the pagan ruler Constantine, and the council of nicea where a group of men bickered over what books to considered canon and what books weren't, the foundations of their beliefs, etc.
