Review of The Da Vinci Code (2006) by Jedi C — 30 Aug 2012
Yeah, it offers fun suspense. But not enough for it's overextended and kind-of thinly scripted 149 minutes that starts off suspenseful then goes along predictable. It's not even proficient enough to be a very good thriller.
Also, it was poorly directed so instead of Ron Howard doing the job, couldn't we have had someone like Darren Aronofsky or David Fincher? A better writer was also needed.
