"Dark" film - most of it taking place at night and the sudden burst of daylight is a bit disconcerting! Readers of the book shouldn't be disappointed as it's very true to the storyline.
Those who have not read the book may feel a bit lost so I strongly suggest you read it first. Absorbing but hardly a classic.
