Review of The Da Vinci Code (2006) by Kevin S — 15 Jul 2014
Based on the book by Dan Brown symbologist Robert Langston and cryptologist Sophie Neveu are accused of a mysterious murder and are against an ancient society where they have to solve a secret since the time of Christ.
Where is the Holy Grail? Who is the last descendant of Christ. These are the answers they are figuring out. I am a big fan of Tom Hanks movies as well as director Ron Howard but this movie did not do justice for me.
Way too many twist on who is the one behind everything. And the whole thing is confusing. I really couldn't enjoy the movie because the whole time I was watching it I didn't have anytime to enjoy because I was too busy scratching my head in total confusion.
Even though it's nonsense to me I thought the cast including Tom Hanks put on good performances. I will have to read the book maybe it will make more sense to me that way.
