Review of The D Train (2015) by Dylan B — 09 May 2015
Viewing D-Train was a waste of 2 hours of time, I cannot recover. The movie plot lacked any basis in humor, and portrays characters lacking self-esteem, personal conviction or moral compass, and dwells on the downward spiral of their ethical fiber.
There is no dark humor, ethical lessen to be gained, nor entertainment value from the the acting performance of Jack Black in his failure to meet his own minimal personal goals of achievement in life, through deceit of his family, friends and boss, leaving his his employer bankrupt, and his family humiliated.
The movie might have achieved a small redemption, had 'D-Train' 'offed' himself as modest payment to the viewing audience.
