Not only is this movie predictable, boring, and a color-by-numbers haunted house horror, its weird. This movie revels in its horror, and not in a good way. Its somehow both so checked out and so overly invested.
It kind of reminds of The Room in a way. This is a really disappointingly awful entry into The Conjuring Cinematic Universe.
