Review of The Curse of Frankenstein (1957) by Simon-Félix L — 07 Jan 2011
This Hammer reprise of the Universal classic ventures into parts unknown by focusing on the background of Doctor Frankenstein. As we watch him foray into the mysteries of what makes human life tick, we observe what makes HIM tick and it is a fascinating story, masterfully delivered by Peter Cushing, supported by a well-rounded cast, well directed cast, and based on Jack Sangster's rock-solid writing.
