Review of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008) by Kurt H — 28 Apr 2012

This was a complex, interesting and sometimes heart-tugging film. One thing is certain: this is Brad Pitt's best work ever. Although it is a little long, and it seemed to bring back memories of Forrest Gump and Titanic for me, it's a riveting story and is well-performed.

The one thing that was disappointing was the disproportionate amount of time spent on Benjamin's youth, when he looks old. I think his older years, when he looks younger were handled poorly. but the last scene left me wiping my eyes, which is always a sign of great film making to me.
