Perhaps it deserves more than 1 star but there were so many things working against this film it is difficult to cover them all here. Too long, terrible plot devices, and if you've seen Forest Gump then all you're getting here is Cate and Brad without the shrimp boats.
Rent it if you must or watch the extended trailer and consider the two hours and 43 minutes you saved a gift.
