Review of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008) by Katie R — 27 Nov 2012
Benjamin Button: My name is Benjamin Button, and I was born under unusual circumstances. While everyone else was agin', I was gettin' younger... all alone.
Benjamin Button: You can be as mad as a mad dog at the way things went, you can curse the fates, but when it comes to the end, you have to let go.
One of the most beautiful and touching movie I have ever seen. Every scene in the movie is a epic. Every dialogue is a fact of life which you have no choice but accepting it. I have never seen narrating a story can be so beautiful. A slow and emotional journey of a Benjamin Button with entirely new dimension towards life. A movie that explains why David Fincher is my favourite.
Benjamin Button: It's funny how sometimes the people we remember the least make the greatest impression on us.
We can see some of the finest performances in this movie. Brad Pitt at his best. Spectacular camera work and makeup. The movie is like watching a scenery. I never looked at time while watching this movie and I am not worried about the movie length at all. Great script though it is based on a short story..
Benjamin Button: Your life is defined by its opportunities... even the ones you miss.
I don't know why critics rated it so less. its very dumb of them. Its a modern classic. The ending was really beautiful. Strange at its best with an unusual story. Really disappointed for not winning more Oscars. Not watching this movie is a great mistake.
"Life isn't measured in minutes, but in moments".
Benjamin Button: For what it's worth: it's never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.
