The Curious Case of Benjamin Button-what makes it so curious?

Before I write my very personal review, I'd like to say that this is my own point of you, thus I may be wrong in some points.

The story starts with a clock maker name Mr. Ghetto in New Orleans who was blind. He had a beloved son who had to be sent to a war and die. Mr. Ghetto, mournful about the loss, designs a clock that goes the opposite way which is located in the new train station. A lot of people who see this clock baffles; however listening to the story- that Mr.Ghetto wish his son back- people think differently.

Later on, rumor that Mr. Ghetto left New Orleans and died prevails the city. When the war, which Mr. Ghetto lost his son, comes to end, a child is born in the Buttons who is little different from other children; the child has a body of 80 years-old man, as if Mr. Ghetto's wish, -to let time go back- has come true.

The baby, due to his ugly appearance, gets abandoned in front of a "home", where his new mother Queenie decides to raise the baby, believing that it is a fate and names him Benjamin.

Here, we know that Benjamin is a different child. We, born as a baby, grow up, stays healthy until 40s and then gets old from our 60s. Where Benjamin has the opposite health routine, everything but health only.

There is a reason, in my personal opinion, why it is set like this. Unlike Mr. Ghetto's personal wish- to go back against time, Benjamin's mental and psychic aspect cannot go back against time, implying that we can never go back again time; thus, live your life well, which is the overarching theme in this movie.
