Review of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008) by Jordan M — 07 Apr 2012
Alright, this film is good, not great in my eyes. Its different, that is why I love this film. It caught me in the beginning and I went along for the ride. Imagine being born old and weak. Now that is interesting.
It should of been like a Twilight Zone episode. Hell, there is a book about it. Also, the way that the story goes historically is better than Forrest Gump. Great performances by the way. Now the iffy things.
Firstly, At some times, it felt awkward. Some of the parts did'nt get to me. Like a father leaving his family. There was no emotion to be felt. Also, the clock backstory was somewhat interesting, but had no effect on the rest of the film than just being there.
And the guy that was being struck by lightning, what was the purpose of that! Interesting story and actors to choose from. Just the unnecessary things and akward moments were random and made the story more confusing, like, What does it have to do with the story? 4.
5/5.
