Review of The Curiosity of Chance (2006) by Sean C — 19 May 2010
Idealistic comedy drama that despite failing to really capture what it would be like for a gay teenager in Eighties America - outside the bullying he experiences at school - DOES still make for a likeable watch.
Tad Hilgenbrink is a very likeable lead and plays everything perfectly even the awkwardness of performing in drag for the first time. It wont change the world but it does kill time nicely and keeps you watching and is worth the watch just for not taking a well worn and cliched path.
