Review of The Cure (1995) by *~Beautifully B — 10 Apr 2008
Excellent movie with everything! The characters, the tough situation & the enduring endless friendship protrayed!
The two main characters, a couple young boys who are both outcasts in the community, one for having AIDS and the other I think because of his subtle personality become the best of friends while trying to find the cure for AIDS.
It just shows how naive children are & how much work they can put into something they really care about. The two set out to New Oreleans after learning from a gossip rag that a man has found the cure!
Breakthrough performances by all! Def. have the kleenex handy in this one. Really puts your life into perspective, especially when you have kids! Very touching!
