Review of The Cup (1999) by Bryan K — 12 Jan 2009
This one was a surprise. Though I didn't find out till after viewing that the director was a lama, it was hardly shocking to hear that. This film is very honest and humorous, capturing the humanity of the monks and delivering a subtle but telling message regarding the true nature of sport and spirituality.
I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
