Review of The Cuckoo (2002) by Michal C — 10 Mar 2008
(Note: I wrote this four years ago!) I've always been fascinated by the Saami people - by their language, their beliefs, and their culture. Not only does this film deal with language barriers, but it also gives the world some insight to the way of life and the beliefs of Saami people.
Parts of this movie made me laugh until I almost cried, and others made me cry so much that I began to laugh at myself for being such a sap. This movie is a must-see.
