Review of The Crying Game (1992) by Jason G — 26 Sep 2007
Aside from good performances (especially Rea), this film is hokey. Surprisingly, not much of that has to do with the subject matter itself but in the way Jordan chooses to show Rea's character reflecting on the past--namely with a black screen showing Forest Whitaker bowling a cricket ball.
...over and over.
