Review of The Crying Game (1992) by Alister N — 04 May 2008
Jordan's narrative is an impossible mix of terrorism, sex, violence and of course is most memorable for the 'big reveal' in more than ways than one. It never manages to transcend its sensationalist aspects, and while not Jordan's best film it is perhaps the best summation of his themes and his most enduring picture.
