I have used all my energy writing about Wendy and Lucy, so I am just gonna write a little about this.

For some reason I always wanted to to see this movie in years. Thank to internetless era back then, I didn?t anything about this movie when I saw this for the first time. Yes, I don?t think you will enjoy it better when someone has cruelly spoil the most important scene in this movie.

The changing plot in this movie is so risky but works so well. First I thought it?s gonna be psychological thriller, but later it change into romance. I usually dislike the changing of genre (like what they did in Miracle Mile, what an awful decision!), but for this one is necessary and the genius of the maker of this movie, they do that so gradually, I almost didn?t notice. Well, maybe I do but I was busy admiring the great performance by the actors and actresses.

It started with a plot make by some member of IRA. They decided to kidnap Jody, a British soldier. They demand the release of other jailed IRA or they will kill him. One of the member, Fergus, begins an unusual friendship with Jody. The plan goes wrong and Jody tragically killed.

Fergus, feeling guilty of what happened goes to find Jody?s girlfriend. However, the romance started between them. This is how the story changed it?s plot. Now it?s about Fergus and Dil. Only I won?t spoil what would happen next.

The actress that play Dill really give the best performance and that?s her first movie ever! Stephen Rea also great. Although, the key of the story is how the story goes. They really know what they?re doing.

All I can say is this is a great movie. This time, I?d recommend this. Just don?t do research before watching or it?ll ruin the most important plot in this movie.
