Review of The Crying Game (1992) by Steph O — 19 Jul 2010
IRA hit-man cozies up with the lover of his ex-hostage, and all hell breaks loose. Fascinating, caustic thriller that takes the phrase "looks can be deceiving" to a whole new level. No, I'm not talking about the infamous plot twist, which was actually very well done.
The whole story itself concerns the intrigue behind hidden emotions and motives, and ultimately is punctuated by some incredible performances.
