Review of The Crying Game (1992) by Daniel G — 21 Apr 2011
The Crying Game is one of those films that can either be experienced in complete perfection or enjoyed knowing the twists and turns. Upon first viewing the less you know about it, the better. The twists and plot turns are completely engaging and will keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire movie.
Stephen Rea gives the performance of his career in The Crying Game and really proves that he is one of Britain's most underrated actors. However without saying to much, the star is of course Jaye Davidson who completely and utterly captures this film.
The cast is perfect and thing about this film keeps you guessing and enthralled to the very end. Completely one of the best films ever made.
