Review of The Crying Game (1992) by Constantine S — 29 Jul 2011
One of the most fascinating and intriguing films that I've seen. This is a film that keeps on surprising the viewer till the very end. Equally curiously effective are the performances by Miranda Richardson, Forest Whitaker and, of course, a noir-ish turn by Stephen Rea.
The credit for blindsiding us, however, goes to Jaye Davidson. And, of course, writer-director Neil Jordan.
