Review of The Crying Game (1992) by Gleason?(Rest In Peace Pa) — 02 Jan 2009
1 Academy Award(Best Original Screenplay) was a bit of a let down. It deserved Best Picture and Best Actor in a Leading Role. And you can't forget Best Director. I thought this had one of the best twists ever and it doesn't even seem important all the same. It is about something else all together and THAT is what makes it one of the very best movies ever. And Stephen Rea is absolutely perfect in every meaning of the word.
And probably the MOST underrated film EVER.
