Review of The Crush (1993) by Alexis E — 18 Jul 2014
If you wish to feel compelled to hate Alicia Silverstone and violated by a teenage girl, you've come to the right place. Her superb acting in this breakout role drums up emotion you might've otherwise never felt for the actress, unless you regard Clueless with contempt. Though the story loosely resembles Fatal Attraction, it holds your attention to the explosive end, leaving those who watch the whole way through restrained in a mental institution.
Things to note:
*The wonderful and nightmarish fatherly appearance of Kurtwood Smith (Red Forman from That 70's Show).
*Lots of almost-nude Alicia Silverstone.
Cary Elwes and Alicia Silverstone will leave you with your hairs standing on end. A good end-of-the-night watch with a significant other or an awkward first date.
