Review of The Crusades (1935) by Trevor R — 20 Dec 2007
Cecil B. DeMille doing what he does best, Directing a very intense and very hokey film. At times, very boring, and too long as well. Production Design is very impressive, and a great performance by Ian Keith as Saladin, the leader of the Infidels.
The last 30 minutes are pretty much taken up by battle sequences, but just a little too late to really help.
