Review of The Crow: Wicked Prayer (2005) by Carlos S — 13 Apr 2008
Yet again, Miramax ruins what could have been a great film. The first Crow film to be based on one of the books since the original. I didn't mind Furlong playing the Crow, his portrayal of rage when taking his revenge is good, he looks good in the make-up.
Some of the acting is too over the top, but you get that when you don't pay that well. Mungia is trying really hard to make a good film, but you can feel that he was fighting a losing battle. Overall, the least of the series, but a worthy effort for a film that the producers never really cared about.
