Review of The Crow: Wicked Prayer (2005) by Julian T — 31 Aug 2011
I've tried to write this review around five times now because there are so many things wrong with this film that I don't know where to start, that being said though I did sort-of enjoy it so thats why it has a 3 star rating from me.
It wasn't boring, even if the acting was bad and the director obviously got confused if he was making a spoof/comedy or a dark revenge film, but I can say I didn't turn it off half-way. That may just be because i'm a pushover.
I think the lead character could have been better if he wasn't so far removed from the original Crow, that guy played in a rock band and was quite alternative, this guy just doesn't really have a personality so when he dresses up all dark it just seems stupid.
I found myself rooting for the bad guys because they were just so cringe-worthy and stupid that I felt like i'd have a better time sacrificing virgins than putting sharpie on my face.
