Review of The Crow: Salvation (2000) by Rich B — 29 Mar 2006
The Crow: Salvation (2000) - "You might want to call 9-1-1. Officer down." - Alex (The Crow).
We're going to execute Alex Corvis on his 21st birthday. He doesn't look 21 (he was 29 when the film was released) - no matter, he's innocent. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow him. Um...
Yeah, well, the sequels to the original Crow have been pretty thin, but I still like the concept. Besides, Zombie's "Living Dead Girl" was on the soundtrack.
Bharat Nalluri (2nd Unit Director - AVP) directs in this effort that didn't amount to much more than cooking up a box of Kraft macaroni and cheese - and just about as satisfying. Too bad.
A hideous performance by Kirsten Dunst. It's excusable, after all, she was involved in six films that were released in 2000.
