Review of The Crow: City of Angels (1996) by Chris S — 22 Dec 2009
A dark and beautiful film in its own right. I guess the biggest problem was after the success of the Brandon Lee flick, the filmmakers thought they would make a franchise with a new Crow that would live up to Brandon Lee's reputation but in the end it didn't work.
Vincent Price was a good Crow, but as much as he dark, handsome and mysterious, he doesn't hold the same high standards as Brandon Lee. The visuals were good, but at what cost? A decent sequel, but not good.
