Review of The Crow: City of Angels (1996) by Frances H — 20 Jul 2013
The nightmare landscape has visual interest, but lacks the logic that comes from a coherent script, so it is just weird for the sake of being weird. Vincent Perez is usually a fairly good actor, but here he just flails, literally, through most of the scenes.
The story is just a poor imitation of the first, far superior, film, which had real style, not to mention the verve of Brandon Lee. This film is just disappointing.
