Review of The Crow (1994) by Justin W — 09 Aug 2011

This is one of my favorite movies. I don't believe that it is man's right to seek revenge, however Brandon Lee's performance and the writing really pull you in to the soul of Eric Draven and I find tormented hero plots very engaging.

I also like how dark the movie is over all, taking place almost completely at night . It adds to the sense of sorrow the surrounds the plot. I also enjoyed how Eric uses psychological warfare on his killers instead of simply getting in, killing them, and getting out.

If only Brandon had lived past this role. I would have loved to have seen what more he could bring to the world of cinema.
