Review of The Crow (1994) by Jonathan G — 16 Feb 2012
Watching this movie for the first time in this Post-Batman Begins era of comic novel movie-making, this movie unfortunately pales in comparison. For it's time though, it was considered a huge catalyst for the Gothic fashion trends, music, and also had some great, dark and lurid set designs and graphics.
The acting tried to be a bit too melodramatic without enough emotion behind it. In general, the movie was entertaining enough and is worth a viewing simply because of its elite cult classic status.
