The Crow is a dark, action packed film that became infamous do to the onset death of Brandon Lee. Adapted from the James O'Barr comic, Eric Draven is resurrected from the dead by the Crow in order to avenge his and is fiancee's brutal murders at the hands of a Detroit crime gang.
The cast is fantastic, and includes Brandon Lee, Michael Wincott, Tony Todd, and Bai Ling; each of whom creates a rich and interesting character. Additionally, the dark, gothic aesthetic of the film enhances the story and gives it a vivid and surreal quality.
The soundtrack is also exceptional, perfectly syncing with the visual style and tone of the film. The Crow is an astonishing comic book adaptation that captures the spirit of this dark tale of lost and redemption.
