Review of The Crow (1994) by Justin O — 30 Oct 2012
This is not a cult classic. This is a dazzling, visually immersive romp through a dark and brooding world that still amazes audiences 20 years later. The action is swift, the dialogue ugly in the prettiest ways and Wincott as Top Dollar gives one of the best villain performances I've even seen.
Brandon Lee was killed on the set of this movie and it seems to contain his soul within it for all to see and enjoy for eternity, or at least until folks stop watching movies. Which isn't likely in our lifetime or the next.
