Review of The Crow (1994) by Ken S — 14 Oct 2011
A goth superhero returns from the dead and seeks revenge on the people that killed him, and raped and murdered his fiance a year before. The film is a dark action film, that kicks ass despite the accidental death of the star who had not yet completed all of his shooting.
This is essential viewing for all goth kids, right up there with the works of Tim Burton and the Matrix. I'm certainly not goth, but I do enjoy this movie a lot. It is a shame Lee died prematurely, as the film suffers a bit due to the incomplete nature of the footage (sadly its a lot of backstory stuff that didn't get shot, so we lose a bit of the punch of the story).
The film still does a good job in spite of all that though.
