Review of The Crow (1994) by Xgary X — 05 Nov 2011
A great looking movie with a sub-par plot. The Crow is full of great iconic images, but it often as a result feels more like a music video. You hate to knock a performance when it ended tragically, but Brandon Lee feels a lot like Alex from a Clockwork Orange but without the sociopathic charm.
The script just has the Crow going from victim to victim with no real sense of danger, ending a so-so fight...but still, it does look good.
