Review of The Crow (1994) by Whit W — 29 Jun 2012
"The Crow" brings interesting style and exciting visuals to the screen. This is to be expected as it's directed by the always wonderful Alex Proyas. However, not a lot else holds up for me.
The soundtrack is dated with the exit of Grunge from the public airwaves and it turns out Brandon Lee isn't quite as charismatic as I thought he was. That, in additon to an over-the-top gang of bad guys, made my latest rewatch of this movie underwhelming.
