Before The Dark Knight and The Avengers, there was The Crow, a brilliant masterpiece with a powerhouse performance by the late Brandon Lee. Shame he died during making the film. This film is very dark in a good way.
It feels like Eric Draven was like a character in Batman. I'm not saying he is, but just a feeling. It has amazing elements of superhero, fantasy, drama, and horror. This is the best superhero film before came The Dark Knight.
Love this film so much. Eric Draven could make a great alley to Bruce Wayne.
