When I was a preteen I used to attend a Christian youth drop-in thing. We'd do bible study and play floor hockey and dodgeball and stuff. It was pretty fun. Once a year we'd watch this movie. Back then it was pretty cool, especially coz Ponch from CHiPs was in it.
At the time it didn't feel like this talked down to us kids and it didn't come off too hokey even then. But now...?
