Review of The Croods (2013) by Azul F — 05 Mar 2014
I like the way animation films are heading these last years (value-wise). "The Croods", while not having a brilliant animation (the backgrounds don't completely convince me, technically) its nice how many new scenarios have been created and how many new species (a mix of them may be well said too) that it gets catchy.
It proposes a different kind of beauty too: Eep being not so good looking, strong and not that lady-like is part of the time period but for the current times I think it broadens the mind of little kids and breaks the old cannons (then again, most animated films these years are doing so).
And well, the end is predictable, right, but it's a family film for everyone, I think it was heartwarming.
