I enjoyed this movie thoroughly.
What I like about this movie.
1. Awesome drawings and animation!
2. The movie kept me on my toes throughout! The twists really surprised me!
3. I love this touching movie! I cried so hard when I thought that the father was not going to make it, and when the father drew a cave painting of him protecting his family *sobs sobs*.
4. The SUPER AWESOME voice actors!! I really love Emma Stone as Eep. Her voice conveys Eep's free-like-the-wind personality perfectly!
5. Very interesting themes explored.The old and new can work together. The new can learn from the old and vice versa. An old dog can learn new tricks. Family. Love. The power of innovation. etc.
6. I really enjoyed the theme song of The Croods, titled Shine Your Way, sang by Owl City and Yuna. The melody is catchy, bright and hopeful and the lyrics are meaningful and motivational.
What I did not like about this movie.
1. Some sequences, like the hunting for food sequence, was too long and my attention wandered off.
Things I learn from this.
1. Remember to tell my loved ones that I love them!
Conclusion:
I enjoyed this movie and would highly recommend it to anyone. This is also the perfect movie for children to learn values and be entertained.
