Creepy and old school violence that shows romero was gearin up to dawn of the dead well. Its a little unsatisying in some respects - doesnt really delve into it all enough and its not all that scary...

.except for the random-ness of some characters like the old lady who knits. The 'are you my mummy' style masks that obviously inspired dr who are a creepy unsettling way of making the government types scary.

But there is some romero genius in here, feels like a remake could explore further and build upoun the interesting idea that this established well........
