Review of The Crazies (1973) by Edward W — 26 Aug 2010
As a hard-core fan of Romero, it pains me to give The Crazies such a low rating. There are some good ideas here, and some genuine moments of horror. However, the clunky script and the porn-movie acting make this a very difficult film to enjoy.
This is one of those rare occasions when the re-make is better than the original.
