Review of The Craigslist Killer (2011) by Eva Marie L — 21 Mar 2012
Well, it was slightly better than A Horrible Way to Die and Texas Killing Fields (both recent RedBox choices of mine.).
I wasn't sure if this was based on the true story until the very end and I'm still not sure exactly how much is true and how much is dramatic flair.
The two main cops parts are take-it-or-leave-it kind of roles. I guess someone had to catch the guy but the casting could have been better. I didn't particularly like any of the actors with the exception of Megan's friend and coworker. And hers was a bit part at best.
Megan herself was decent but I'd have to see her in another movie to really have an opinion. She's beautiful and there's something different about her - some unique something somewhere.
I wouldn't suggest anyone go running out to buy it. Or even rent it for that matter. I can't see myself ever watching it again.
In ending, why aren't good movies made anymore? I don't understand. Thank God I love reading far more than watching movies because these newer movies just are not what they should be.
