Review of The Cowboy and the Lady (1938) by Elsy M — 13 Mar 2018
I would advise you to get off your high horse and stop talking down to people, and the same goes for your smart aleck friends here . In the first place I don't see where you get off picking for President when you haven't the decency to treat a person like a human being, instead of asking people to sit down your table so that you can laugh at them, may be you ought to go out and find out what they think and feel, and what their needs are, and what you can do to help them.
That's all that's going to count in the long run. If Judge Smith there wants to be President, he isn't going very far looking down his nose at people and thinking he is better than they are.
Abraham Lincoln didn't have to do that. He turned out to be a pretty good President.
