Review of The Court Jester (1955) by Hugo F — 31 Dec 2007
God save Danny Kaye. Is he underappreciated? Why is there no one building him a temple? He really was a renaissance man when it came to the performing arts and his style of dim-witted humor never became tiresome or sloppy.
His voice was operatic and his choreography absolutely outrageous. If royal ceremony had been conducted in the great courts like it is done in this film, we would all have been a lot better off.
