This is hilarious! I can't believe it's taken this long for me to watch this classic. This movie has got songs, it's got dance, it's got viciously clever wit, and it's even got swordfighting.... What more could you want?
In some ways "Court Jester" reminded me of the "Princess Bride," except the laughs it gets from its script is due to actual cleverness rather than "Bride"'s obvious gags.
"The Court Jester" is quite enjoyable and safe for the whole family. Watch and have a laugh or two or twelve. Fun stuff!
